"What an honor it is. I use to buy the book every time it was out, and I wanted to be in the book. The only thing is that I had no clue what I could do."

Dearest Admin,

This is the saddest thing I've read in a while, in relation to yet another celebrity. I feel somewhat compelled to "save" you - so you don't lose the potentially fulfilling life you could have, whoever you are.

Ms. Jolie has done some awesome things, true - but I think it would be even more worthwhile if people instead considered all the awesome and great things they could do with their own lives! Paying so much hommage to celebrities, in my opinion, only takes the focus off the individual, leaving people to believe that they can't accomplish anything in the scope of what these stars can - because, of course, the stars are better than "average" people.

Not true! They start out as fragile flesh and bone, just like anyone. Some of them think big and work hard to get what they want; many receive lucky breaks in life, that let them see what is out there to accomplish.

But the more time you spend documenting every mundane move of this woman, dear admin, the more you are promoting the idea that perhaps we all should. I've already spent way more time looking at you look at someone whom you likely don't even know!

Take the positive that Jolie does have to offer, and separate it from the negatives: the constant open offers for interviews; how she welcomes attention (How can anyone justify *that* much attention spent on a single human being? Sure, she's done things to help many people, but so have doctors and researchers... ask yourself why they don't receive as much attention? Perhaps it's because it's easy to look at a celebrity - when words are difficult to read and research, photos are right there).

Then take the positives - thinking big, and self-determination, and apply them to your own damn life. You're disrespecting your potential as an individual if you do not. You disrespect your real-life friends by alotting this much time to a bloated public figure.

Thank Ms. Jolie for the realization of the importance of your own self, but don't let her influence be that of disempowerment and believing you can't be in the Guinness Book, because you're an "ordinary mortal." We all are, including her. Except some of us decide that that is, in fact, an extraordinary thing to be, if we make it such.
