Angelina Jolie has signed on with Louis Vuitton for a reported $10 million to be featured in one of their summer ad campaigns.This is Jolie’s highest ever endorsement deal on record and she joins the ranks of Madonna and Jennifer Lopez who have done ad campaigns for the company in the past.
Jolie has been the face of US luxury knitwear St. John in the past from 2005 to 2008. When the brand launched its spring 2010 print advertising campaign with 30-year-old British model Karen Elson, St. John chief executive Glenn McMahon reportedly told Women’s Wear Daily that Jolie “overshadowed the brand.
Jolie has also recently launched her own jewelry brand with profits going towards funding the charity Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.
According to www.actressarchives.com, they want Angelina Jolie to reprise her role in the movie “Wanted,” even though her character died in the movie.
“If you remember from the first film, we have a recovery room with the baths of wax. We know how to do this, but it’s still tough to do, because the bullet is inside her head. But there has to be a reason for her to come back… and we know the reason .I think we found the reason for her to come back. We are trying hard. She was kind of… dead,” director Timur Bekmambetov said.
There is no word on if Angelina Jolie will come back.
“I think we will make the movie this winter.”
I think I better watch “Wanted” before they make the next one.
According to Amy Eisinger, writer for www.nydailynews.com, and Parade magazine, Brad Pitt again puts the rumors to rest that his and Angelina Jolie’s relation is on the rocks.
“I have a love in my life, a soulmate–absolutely,” he says.
So why doesn’t Brad and Angelina get married. If they are soul mates, you would think that a wedding would be in the works/
“When someone asked me why Angie and I don’t get married, I replied, ‘Maybe we’ll get married when it’s legal for everyone else.’ I stand by that, although I took a lot of flak for saying it–hate mail from religious groups,” says Pitt. “I believe everyone should have the same rights.”
You can tell that Angelina and Brad love their children. They put them first.
“Our family is the base that gives Angie and me the long tether to go out and do all these other things,” he says. “We’ve put down roots together. As Angie and I carve out our time as a couple, we carve out our lives as individuals.”

Angelina Does Seem to Like Megan Fox
According to http://movies.apunkachoice.com and Life & Style magazine, Angelina Jolie was asked what she thought about Megan Fox being compared to her.
Angelina allegedly replied, “Is she aiding in Africa or sitting in on U.N. conferences? Donating herself to something bigger than Hollywood? I’m not familiar with her work, is she an Oscar contender?”
Angelina has a point there.
“Angie is not thrilled about turning 34, to put it mildly,” says a friend. “In fact, she’s panicking a little. She feels that her age is starting to undercut her choice of film roles and it annoys her that Megan Fox is being touted as the ‘new Angelina.’”
I can completely understand that. But luckly, I can see Angelina doing that and we are the same age, so it is a plus for me.
But Megan Fox has this to say about Angelina Jolie.
“I love Angelina Jolie. She’s someone I admire and look up to. She’s my favorite actress in Hollywood. I just love that she’s incredibly honest, and I feel that she’s not afraid to be herself. She tells you exactly what’s on her mind.”

Vanity Fair Best Dressed of 2009
I can not believe it. Angelina Jolie did not make Vanity Fair Best Dressed of 2009, according to www.theinsider.com. How could they not add her.
On the list was though, Michelle Obama, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ivanka Trump, Daniel Craig , Kanye West and Penelope Cruz.
Three boxes of dress were taken from Angelina Jolie’s dresser, Jennifer Rade, according to www.hindustantimes.com. Angelina was going to wear the dresses for her up and coming premier of the movie, ‘Salt.’

“Every designer who was sending pieces was trying to send their best stuff. Angelina was just starting the fitting process for pieces to wear when she begins promoting ‘Salt’,” said a source.
Hopefully the dresses will show up un harmed.

Angelina Goes It Iraq
I have to say that Angelina has more nerve than I do. As part of her Goodwill Ambassador, Angelina visited displaced Iraqis on Thursday, according to www.telegraph.co.uk.
“This is a moment where things seem to be improving on the ground, but Iraqis need a lot of support and help to rebuild their lives,” the agency quoted Jolie as saying. It was the actor’s third trip to Iraq.
A father and his six children had to leave their home around four years ago. His children cannot go to school, and they do not have health insurance.

“It takes a lot of strength for you to survive this life. I don’t know if I would be strong enough to survive this,” Jolie told him.
According to Joanna Sloame, writer for www.nydailynews.com, Angelina twins, Knox and Vivienne had their 1st Birthday on July 15. The celebration was low key, but took place in Los Angeles. It has been reported that Brad’s parents were their to celebrate their birthday. Knox and Vivienne each had a cake of their own. That way they did not have to share. That is a great idea.
It is hard to believe it just has been a year. Angelina looks great. I would still be working off the baby fat.

Angelina Jolie’s Father Reaches Out Again

According to Daniel Kilkelly, writer for www.digitalspy.com, Jon Voight has reached out again to Angelina Jolie, by sending her a DVD of “Lookin’ To Get Out.” Angelina and her father were both in the movie.
Jon said, “Angelina’s scene is a very key piece in the film. She was wonderful.”
A source close to Jolie revealed that, “Angelina thinks it’s cute actually. She didn’t have the best childhood, but this was a happy time. Perhaps watching it will encourage some bridges to be built.”
According to Elizabeth Snead, writer for http://latimesblogs.latimes.com, Angelina Jolie toped Forbes’ list of Hollywood’s biggest female moneymakers. Angelina made $27 million from June 2008 through last month. Others on the list are:

Angelina Jolie’s New DVD
This is 7 year old, Angelina Jolie is a clip from Lookin’ to Get Out , which is now out on DVD.
Angelina Jolie gave birth to twin girls in France. No word yet on the details of the birth or the condition of Angie or her new baby girls. The babies, rumored to be a boy and a girl, were due August 19 but came two and a half months early.
The Jolie-Pitt clan now consists of 6 year old Maddox from Cambodia, 4 year old Pax from Vietnam, 3 year old Zahara from Ethiopia, 2 year old Shiloh born in Namibia and the newest additions born in France. That’s right, they now have 6 children! One can only assume these children will be as beautiful as their parents.
Names for the Jolie-Pitt twins have not been released but it has been widely known that the couple have been discussing names for awhile. Angelina, a Gemini, wanted to name the girls after the twins in her birth sign, Castor and Pollox. Brad was said to dislike the names but seeing as they were born under the same sign as their mother, she may overrule Brad in the name department.
Angelina Jolie, along with Brad Pitt and their children, arrived in France on Monday evening. The couple, who were accompanied by bodyguards and two nannies, landed their Gulf Stream jet in Nice before driving to St. Jean Cap Ferrat. It is rumored that they are staying in a Florentine style villa belonging to Paul Allen, a co-founder of Microsoft.
This is not the first time the Jolie-Pitts have stayed here, they vacationed at the villa for a week shortly following the birth of their daughter, Shiloh, in 2006. Angelina and family are expected to stay for an extended period of time and are reported to stay in France throughout the Cannes Film Festival with Angelina making a red carpet appearance for her two films, Kung Fu Panda and The Changeling .
Angelina Jolie’s children are beautiful, but are still children. Anyone with more than one child knows that there is the inevitable sibling rivalry and Angie’s are no exception. Maddox, age 6, is trying to hold onto his place as oldest and pushes Pax around to show him who is boss. However, Pax, age 4, stands his ground and pushes right back. Surprisingly, it is little Zahara that rules the household. The 2 year old tot has always been reported to have a strong personality and it shows as she screams, scratches and even bites to get her way.
Perhaps the only Jolie-Pitt who hasn’t learned to fight back yet is little Shiloh who has suffered many scratches and even a broken tooth from being pushed around by the older children. Shocking? Not really, celebrity children are no different than others and just because their parents can fix everything onscreen doesn’t mean its as easy for them off-screen. For all you mothers out there who feel your children are always fighting…you aren’t alone!
