Its a Girl!!!…Its another Girl!!!

Angelina Jolie gave birth to twin girls in France. No word yet on the details of the birth or the condition of Angie or her new baby girls. The babies, rumored to be a boy and a girl, were due August 19 but came two and a half months early.

The Jolie-Pitt clan now consists of 6 year old Maddox from Cambodia, 4 year old Pax from Vietnam, 3 year old Zahara from Ethiopia, 2 year old Shiloh born in Namibia and the newest additions born in France. That’s right, they now have 6 children! One can only assume these children will be as beautiful as their parents.

Names for the Jolie-Pitt twins have not been released but it has been widely known that the couple have been discussing names for awhile. Angelina, a Gemini, wanted to name the girls after the twins in her birth sign, Castor and Pollox. Brad was said to dislike the names but seeing as they were born under the same sign as their mother, she may overrule Brad in the name department.

Settling In

Angelina Jolie, along with Brad Pitt and their children, arrived in France on Monday evening. The couple, who were accompanied by bodyguards and two nannies, landed their Gulf Stream jet in Nice before driving to St. Jean Cap Ferrat. It is rumored that they are staying in a Florentine style villa belonging to Paul Allen, a co-founder of Microsoft.

This is not the first time the Jolie-Pitts have stayed here, they vacationed at the villa for a week shortly following the birth of their daughter, Shiloh, in 2006. Angelina and family are expected to stay for an extended period of time and are reported to stay in France throughout the Cannes Film Festival with Angelina making a red carpet appearance for her two films, Kung Fu Panda and The Changeling .

Just Like Other Kids

Angelina Jolie’s children are beautiful, but are still children. Anyone with more than one child knows that there is the inevitable sibling rivalry and Angie’s are no exception. Maddox, age 6, is trying to hold onto his place as oldest and pushes Pax around to show him who is boss. However, Pax, age 4, stands his ground and pushes right back. Surprisingly, it is little Zahara that rules the household. The 2 year old tot has always been reported to have a strong personality and it shows as she screams, scratches and even bites to get her way.

 Perhaps the only Jolie-Pitt who hasn’t learned to fight back yet is little Shiloh who has suffered many scratches and even a broken tooth from being pushed around by the older children. Shocking? Not really, celebrity children are no different than others and just because their parents can fix everything onscreen doesn’t mean its as easy for them off-screen. For all you mothers out there who feel your children are always fighting…you aren’t alone!

Angie’s Medical Scare

Angelina Jolie had a medical scare recently when she experienced excessive swelling in her legs. The actress has been having a hard time with this pregnancy and has had swelling, or edema, earlier but this time it was blamed on an ankle injury suffered while in Texas. Due to her previous history of problems in this pregnancy, Angie chose to fly home to L.A. to visit her doctor.

During the trip home, Miss Jolie became more serious as the swelling increased and she began to feel more nauseous. Traveling in her and Brad Pitt’s Gulf-stream jet, the couple considered an emergency landing but Jolie wanted to see her own doctor so they continued to L.A. She was greeted at the airport by her doctor and security. The pregnant actress is currently resting at her home in Los Angeles.

Wedding Bells

The secret life of Angelina Jolie has leaked to the public and the theme music is the chiming of wedding bells. The very private nuptials are to take place in early June at Jolie and Brad Pitt’s home in Santa Barbara, California.

Instead of following in the Hollywood tradition of star studded guest list, the famous couple has opted for a quiet affair with only close friends and family. Furthermore, sources say that Angelina has asked her father, with whom she has been estranged from for the past 6 years, to walk her down the aisle.

Taking Time To Be Mom

While Angelina Jolie was in Washington DC this past week, attending the Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards and discussing an international education initiative at the Coucil on Foreign Relations, she took time out to be a mother to her two boys, Maddox and Pax. Jolie took her sons to the Air and Space Museum in D.C. where they became part of the popular attraction to tourists with cameras.

Sweet Lady

Angelina Jolie is hiding out at the moment so there is no new information or pictures. However, looking back at Angelina and her much publicized pregnancy one notices when she chose to reveal that she was actually with child.

Jennifer Lopez gave birth to her twins on February 22, 2008 and even though it was speculated, Ms Jolie did not confirm her pregnancy until 2 days later at the Spirit Awards on February 24, 2008.

Coincidence or is Angelina that respectful of a woman that she would let JLo have her media attention with her babies? If so, good for her!

Wedding Bells?!

Rumor has it, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt married on the 29th. She can fly an airplane, has 4 children, is pregnant with twins AND marries Brad Pitt. Is there anything she CAN’T do?

 The nuptials took place in New Orleans where the couple owns a home. The family is expected to head back to Texan where Mr. Angelina Jolie is filming a movie. Congratulations to the Jolie-Pitts!

Problem Pregnancy

Angelina Jolie is experiencing alot of problems with this pregnancy. From edema (swelling) to gestational diabetes, Jolie is having a much different pregnancy than with daughter, Shiloh. This could be a result of twins rather than a single fetus.

Angie is seeing a nutritionist frequently to deal with the gestational diabetes that she discovered a month ago. The swelling has made her shoe size balloon up by half a size!

Nausea and fatigue have made the actress feel weak. I would suspect that she will be ordered to bed rest shortly. Luckily she has Brad Pitt to help take care of her 4 other children.

Voting In Family

As Americans get ready for the preliminary elections all eyes are on Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. In Angelina Jolie’s household things could be a bit complicated. It was released recently that Jolie is related to Sen. Hillary Clinton while partner, Brad Pitt, is related to Sen. Barack Obama.

Ninth cousins, twice removed, Clinton and Jolie share a French connection with Jean Cusson. Pitt and Obama are also ninth cousins and are related through Edwin Hickman. Wonder if this has any impact on who they vote for.
