Angelina Jolie’s Twins Are Walking

According to Jacob E. Osterhout , writer for www.nydailynews.com, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitts’ twins are walking.

“The twins are great. They’re walking,” she told Life & Style. “I hope to get all of my kids involved [in humanitarian efforts]. I hope to raise them properly so that they have a good conscience, and they’re good people.”

I cannot believe that the twins are old enough to walk. It seems like they were just born. Maybe it is because Angelina and Brad keep them away from the media and the rest of their children. I think it is great that she is going to get her kids involved in humanitarian efforts. I wish that my family had gotten involved or at least to do something to help out.

Angelina Gives Money to Buy Bikes

According to www.contactmusic.com, Angelina Jolie gave around $10,000 to an Okanimekwa School. The money went to bikes for the students.

In a Life & Style magazine special, teenager Emiliana Shikongo says, “She’s (Jolie) a very special person, and we’ll never forget her. She must be a holy person.”

Andreas Kristofelius adds, “I think Angelina Jolie must be a saint.”

“Now I can stay at school until 4 or 5pm to finish my homework and I still get home before dark. Now my teachers and parents are happy with my performance,” adds Shikongo

Kristofelius, 17, adds, “I used to stay late at school, then walk home to collect firewood to make light so I could finish my homework (because) there is no electricity… Now, with the bicycle, I get to school early, and I’m already working when my teacher arrives. And I can stay later and finish all my homework because it doesn’t take me long to ride home.”

At times I also have to wonder if Angelina Jolie is a “saint.” Well a great Samaritan. She is always doing something to make a difference in people’s lives. I am sure that we can learn a lot of positive things from her.

Angelina and Brad Are Down to Earth

http://www.entertainmentwise.com asked Quentin Tarantino if there were there any surprises working with Brad Pitt.

“I don’t know if there was any super-big surprises. I guess when you said that the first thing that came to my mind was how down to earth he was, but that wasn’t really a surprise, I kinda expected him to be that way. I don’t know if there was any big surprise, I just had a blast working with him.”

“Angelina visited the set a couple of times and was great. It’s just like anyone else’s family coming to work, they were very down to earth,” Producer Laurence Bender told Entertainmentwise. “Then Brad would go home whenever there was a break in filming to see his kids, just like any dad would.”

Angelina Can Fly a Plane

I did not know that Angelina Jolie is taking flying lessons. According to Chris Morran, writer for

www.okmagazine.com, Jolie started to take lessons in 2004, but after the birth of her daughter she took a break. Well until Thursday, were she was spotted at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank. It seems that Angelina was practicing taking off and landing. Two good things to get down smoothly. She was flying a small single-engine Cirrus SR33 plane, which she owns.

“She looked like she was just having so much fun,” one witness at the airport tells OK!. “It even seems like she’s got a little muscle tone in her arms, like she’s been working out again.”

I am not a big fan of planes, but it is great that she is learning how to fly. That way if her or her family need to go somewhere, she has her own plane to take them were ever they need or want to go. But I am not sure her plane would hold her whole family.

I am pretty sure this is one my list of must see movies, but really almost anything Angelina Jolie is in – - I will watch. Almost….. She is one of my favorite actresses, so it is kind of a habit that I have to watch the movies they are in. Angelina Jolie has never let me down.

Why You Do Not See A lot of Vivienne and Knox

According to www.showbizspy.com and Life & Style magazine, Vivienne and Knox both have serious digestive problems. That is why they are not seen out in public a lot.

“They’re both hypersensitive,” an insider said. “Knox has trouble holding down his food. He spits up nearly every meal.”

The insider adds that Vivienne has food and environmental allergies, “”Right now, she’s on a lactose and gluten-free diet, and she’s still underweight.”

“Because of their delicate state, Knox and Vivienne need to be kept away from anything they could possibly be allergic to,” the insider explains. “That’s a lot easier to do when they’re home and in a controlled environment.”

I am sure it is hard for Angelina and Brad to have to worry about Knox and Vivienne.

According to www.ibtimes.co.in, Angelina Jolie may have her sights set on the White House.

“Ange has admitted she’s getting bored with Hollywood. She said she’s now got her sights set on Washington,” A friend of Jolie told British tabloid ‘The Daily Express.’“She is passionate about people’s rights, war and justice and thinks she can get more hands-on and make even more of a difference by getting into politics. She admires Obama and thinks she could make a big difference too if she were in his position. I would place a huge wager on her becoming the first female president within the next 20 years. When Angelina sets her mind on something, she goes all out to do it,” said the friend.

I have to admit, that there would be a good chance that I would vote to her. I would have to see what other things she stood for, but it would be a good chance.

World Refugee Day

According to Mary Green, writer for www.people.com, actress and Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Angelina Jolie hosted World Refugee Day, on Thursday, June 18.

Angelina, Ann Curry and the audience heard first hand accounts of refugees that had move to the United States.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was suppose to be there, but she feel and broke her elbow. Also, Anderson Cooper was suppose to be there, but he had flight problems. Thank goodness for Ann Curry who filled in for him.

Angelina Jolie had this to say about the refugees, “Most of all they are survivors … They are the most impressive people I have ever met.”

I have to agree with that statement. Angelina is very passionate about this subject, so if fits that she is the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

So far, there have been over two million Pakistanis that have had to move.

Brad Pitt Bought A Painting

It has been reported that Brad Pitt just recently bought a $960,000 painting by German artist Neo Rauch, according to Kimberley McGee, writer for www.examiner.com. The painting, which is entitled Etappe , was bought at the 40th annual Art Basel fair in Switzerland. According to McGee the painting is a rainbow-colored racetrack. Now that would be an interesting picture to see.

Angelina Jolie Said No to Harper’s Bazaar

According to www.showbizspy.com, Angelina Jolie “forced Haper’s Bazaar to use the” first-ever paparazzi cover shot.” For some reason Angelina Jolie did not want to take part in the feature that the magazine was doing on her.

“Angelina [Jolie] refused to participate, so they went ahead and did a write-around and bought an image from a photo agency,” a source told the New York Post.

A magazine rep added, “The interest in Angelina has reached fever pitch. In a recent online poll, our readers voted overwhelmingly for Angelina as the woman they admire and most want to be, so we responded as quickly as possible.”

Angelina Jolie has not commented on why she did not want to do the feature, but I am sure that she has a good reason. She is a great role model. Just think of everything she has done for the world and other people.

Angelina Jolie Bumps Her Head

According to Missy Schwartz, writer for http://news-briefs.ew.com, Angelina Jolie had a small accident on the New York set of Salt.

It was reported that Angelina bumped her head and has a small cut between her eyes. She was taken to the hospital and now everything is okay.

“This morning [May 29], while filming an action sequence during production of her new movie Salt, Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie was taken to a local hospital, examined and released. She is now back on set and production of the film has resumed,” the studio set out in a statement.

Thank goodness that Angelina is going good. A bump on the head can be bad.

Brad Pitt is Happy

It has been wonderful seeing pictures of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in Cannes this week. They have shown a loving couple who is still in love…. Not falling out of it.

Brad Pitt talked to Britain’s Daily Mirror to clear up the rumors that have been floating around.

“I am in love and I have the most beautiful family – what else can a guy want? I am the happiest man ever. My daughter from Africa is beautiful. We’re so lucky to have her and to have children from around the world. They’re all fantastic and we would love another.”

Did he just say what I think he said? They would love another. That would be great, but I would not want to start any false rumors. The make a cute couple.

Angelina Shows Up in Court

According to Yvonne Elmasri, writer for www.examiner.com, Angelina Jolie stopped by the trail of the Congolese warlord Thomas Lubanga. Lubanga is being charged with abusing children soldiers, according to the Associated Press.

It has been said that he abducts children as young as eleven years old and put them in the military camps. There he drugs and abuses them. It was also repeated the young girls were treated like sex slaves. Lubanga has pleaded not guilty.

“Children deserve special protection. Using children in conflict is a heinous crime and destroys the very fabric of a society,” said Angelina said in a statement according to the AFP. “I imagined how difficult it must be for all the brave young children who have come to testify against him.”

I agree completely. It is upsetting to see children being treated that way.
